Backbends - Rocket Style.

Backbends are an amazing counter to the 'hunched forward' position most of us find ourselves in daily. stretching across the chest, releasing tension in the shoulders and building strength in the back body, heart openers are really wonderful poses to play with.

Using the efficiency of the Rocket Yoga sequence to connect to the whole body, strengthening and stabilising all major joint complexes, we will warm the body up head to toe with a 60 minute flow.

Then as we progress, we will begin to find more space in the shoulders, thoracic spine and hips allowing us to explore a whole manner of backbends, seated, standing, prone & supine.

Wall space and lots of props to help you find your "level" that day and a blissful supported savasana to help ease your body back off your mat ready for the real world again.

Fresh Juice & tea will be available after class.

All equipment provided.

Ne experience necessary as everybody has to start somewhere and the workshop caters for all.
